Electrostatic Classifier 3082

Model Number: 308200

Our latest generation of Electrostatic Classifier, Model 3082, continues to be the solution in helping scientists generate and size submicrometer particles. The Classifier features valuable capabilities for many aerosol-related applications, and an easy-to-use interface.

Product Details

Since 1976, TSI Electrostatic Classifiers have been helping scientists generate and size submicrometer particles. These instruments have been used in a wide variety of research areas, and have earned a well-deserved reputation for being highly reliable and extremely versatile. The current design offers tool-free installation and auto-detection of configurable components. The Electrostatic Classifier serves as the controller platform for high-resolution submicrometer sizing. Select one of our four DMAs to achieve the desired size range. Combine with one our Condensation Particle Counters to obtain a Scanning Mobility Particle Sizer system.

Advantages over previous design

  • Smaller and lighter
  • Convenient front panel touch-screen display with graphical user interface control
  • Tool-free installation and auto-detection of configurable components
  • Data logging of size distribution measurements
  • Higher maximum sheath flow for increased size resolution
  • Precision dynamic DMA high-voltage supply for faster scanning (<10 sec)
  • Switchable DMA voltage polarity (optional; negative polarity is standard)

Applications

  • Monodisperse aerosol generation
  • Particle sizing

Features and benefits

  • Supports Long, Wide-Range, Nano, and 1nm DMA models
  • Compatible with SMPS systems
  • Generates particles from 2 to 1000 nm
