Fast Particle Sizer Spectrometers
To measure rapidly-evolving aerosols (such as engine or 3D printer emissions), you need a particle sizer that can keep up. TSI has several fast particle sizer spectrometers that are designed for such situations. Whether your application requires 1 Hz (or faster) size distributions, a soot-specific data inversion, or sample dilution, TSI has a fast sizing solution.
Engine Exhaust Particle Sizer (EEPS) 3090
Measure particle size from 5.6 to 560 nm at 10 Hz to visualize the dynamic behavior of particle emissions. Transient test cycles, the first few seconds of a cold start, and regeneration of a particle trap or diesel particulate filter (DPF): all of these require a particle sizer that can respond rapidly. The Engine Exhaust Particle Sizer (EEPS™) was designed for exactly these applications. The EEPS can be used with PC-based software, or integrated into a test cell via AK or serial commands.
Fast Mobility Particle Sizer (FMPS) 3091
Monitor the size distribution of quickly-changing aerosols. Whether outdoors or indoors, some aerosol populations change too rapidly for standard aerosol size measurement techniques. The Fast Mobility Particle Sizer (FMPS) 3091 measures particles in the range from 5.6 to 560 nm with 1 Hz time resolution. This combination of two-decade size distribution and 1 Hz time resolution makes the FMPS a very valuable tool for monitoring particle exposures in rapidly changing environments. Suitable for measuring near street canyons, airports, or mines, as well as emissions from processes such as incineration, cigarettes, or printers.
Engine Exhaust Particle Measurement System (EEPMS) 3095
Measure rapidly-changing particle emissions while also having accurate, dynamic dilution control.
Upcoming regulations (post Euro 6/VI) require advanced emission control devices. Measuring the transient response of new engine designs with such devices can now be done seamlessly and accurately from a single user interface. The Engine Exhaust Particle Measurement System (EEPMS) 3095 provides accurate dynamic dilution control and measures the size distribution of engine exhaust particle emissions from 5.6 to 560 nm in 32 channels with the fastest system time resolution available (10 Hz).
