The Aerosol Generator is an accessory used to perform in-situ testing of the BioTrak® Real-Time Viable Particle Counter. It provides confidence in the accuracy of viable particle counts with an easy method to demonstrate the viability detector of the BioTrak Real-Time Viable Particle counter is operating properly. This is accomplished by mimicking the process followed during calibration to verify that the two fluorescence sensors used to detect viability remain in tolerance.

Included components:

• Tablet preloaded with TSI BioTrak AG-CalCheck Software
• USB cable to connect the tablet to the aerosol generator
• Nebulizer (TSI P/N 6003622)
• Aerosol connection tube, 1/2 inch / 12.5 mm ID conductive tubing ~24 inch / 64 cm in length, with a 3/8 inch / 0.95 cm tubing adapter (if needed)
• Aerosol generator battery charging cord
• Yellow-green fluorescent 1 micrometer (nominal) polystyrene latex particles (fPSLs) with BioTrak PMT A and PMT B calibration values (additional fPSL particles are available, TSI P/N S7000207)
