On August 5, 2020, Mindray Biomedical Electronics Co., Ltd. honored TSI with an award at their Guangming factory in Shenzhen.
Mindray is an international developer and manufacturer of medical instruments based in Shenzhen, a city in Guangdong province in China. This month, TSI Sales Manager Paul (Jianhua) Zhang accepted an award from Mindray on behalf of TSI.
The Outstanding Partner Award recognizes TSI for “support, commitment, leadership and sustained efforts to Mindray as an outstanding partner.” This year, TSI fulfilled high-volume orders of flow sensors to Mindray. The sensors were part of Mindray’s donations of ¥11 million of ventilators and medical equipment to hospitals in China.
Despite supply chain disruptions and other pandemic-related challenges, TSI delivered the sensors on time in order to complete shipments to Wuhan Vulcan Mountain and Raytheon Mountain Hospitals. Those hospitals received over 3000 pieces of equipment. Mindray donated 35,000 products in total to help fight the novel coronavirus sar-cov-2 pandemic.
Widely used in patient ventilators since 1983, TSI’s embedded mass flow sensors measure air, oxygen, and other gases for medical respiratory products. Medical equipment manufacturers like Mindray use them for ventilator applications from adults to newborns.
