Simultaneous Velocity and Diameter Measurements Using PDPA – Key Steps and Best Practices

Simultaneous Velocity and Diameter Measurements Using PDPA – Key Steps and Best Practices

May 26 2021 - May 26 2021 9:00 AM (CDT) / 4:00 PM (CEST)

Description

Spray characterization through simultaneous velocity and size measurements using  the  Phase Doppler Particle Analysis (PDPA) technique is well established.  In this webinar, the principle of the PDPA technique will be presented with specifics on how measurements are taken.  The technique requires hardware components to be arranged very precisely in order for accurate measurements to  result.  Several common system arrangements will be presented to maximize system performance.  Best practices on operation and analysis will also be discussed.
