1. Is it free to set up a TSI Link™ Solutions login/account?
-
It is free to create a TSI Link account (https://tsi.com/tsilink/) and register one device, to give you a sample of the air quality outcomes we can support you in achieving. To access more than one of your device’s data in real-time on a single account check out TSI Link Solutions. For a demo of the paid features please reach out to cloudsupport@tsi.com.
2. Why do I need to create a TSI Link Solutions account online?
-
In order to access the BlueSky™ Air Quality Monitor data via TSI Link Solutions, you will need to create a login account. As well as being able to see all your BlueSky monitor data, you will also have access to additional cloud features through your login account.
3. Why do I need to verify my email address during the online account sign up?
-
Verifying your email address is a vital step in creating your TSI Link Solutions account. When you are setting up your monitor and connecting it to TSI Link Solutions, we will send an email confirmation request to the email address you used when creating your account. If you do not verify that email address, you will not be able to finish creating your online account.
4. I’ve forgotten my password – how do I reset my password?
-
To reset your password, click the “Forgot Password” link on TSI Link Solutions login page. TSI will send an email to the email address associated with your account, and you can follow the instructions in that email to reset your password.
5. Why do I need to register my BlueSky monitor on my TSI Link Solutions online account?
-
To see your BlueSky monitor’s measurement data in TSI Link Solutions, you need to register your device with your TSI Link Solutions login/account.
6. How do I register my BlueSky monitor with my TSI Link Solutions online account?
-
Linking your BlueSky monitor with your TSI Link Solutions account should be done prior to mounting, as you will need access to your monitor. When you log onto TSI Link Solutions for the first time (after creating your online account), you will be prompted to register your monitor by providing: the serial number listed on the monitor’s label, a name for the monitor, and a location. You can use our browser location tool if desired to fill out the BlueSky monitor location section, as long as the browser/electronic device you are using is in the same location as you plan to mount your BlueSky monitor.
-
Next on the page are two toggle buttons: “Make Data Viewable” and “Indoor Sensor”:
-
Make Data Viewable: selecting this option (turning it on) will allow other TSI Link Solutions users to view your monitor’s measurement data. Leaving it turned off (the default) will keep your monitor’s measurement data private. Please note that private data can still be shared with specific other TSI Link Solutions users, but will not be viewable by any logins other than those specified.
-
Indoor Sensor: if the BlueSky monitor will be installed indoors, select this option (turn it on). If it is left unselected (the default), your measurement data will be recorded as an outdoor air quality sensor.
-
-
After filling out all the fields, click Done.
If you want to register your monitor at another time, simply hit the Close button. If/when you decide to register your monitor, simply click the pink plus button to access the registration page again.
7. How do I use the map on TSI Link Solutions? What do the numbers mean?
-
Each pin on the map represents a BlueSky monitor. The color of the pin indicates the real-time PM2.5 or PM10 reading on the United States Environmental Protection Agency Air Quality Index (US EPA AQI) scale. The solid black pins indicate that the sensor is registered as an outdoor sensor; the black-outlined pins with a white interior indicate that the sensor is registered as an indoor sensor.

Outdoor sensor pin example:
When you click on a pin/sensor icon, a detailed measurement report will appear. Measurement data includes: WiFi signal strength, AQI readings, temperature, relative humidity, and historical data from that sensor. Additional alerts could also be provided regarding device status.
To access the Additional Device Status and Settings page, click the three vertical dots in the left corner of the box.
8. Why is my BlueSky monitor pin gray? Why do I have an error message? How can I view my BlueSky monitor’s status?
-
If your BlueSky monitor is offline for more than 24 hours, the monitor’s pin on TSI Link Solutions page will be grayed out. Once you click on the pin, you will be able to see an error message that will remain until the monitor is back online.
To see the status of your BlueSky monitor, enter the Additional Device Status and Settings page by clicking the three vertical dots in the left corner of the monitor’s data screen.
9. How can I update my BlueSky monitor information or change my settings?
-
To change your monitor’s settings, enter the Additional Device Status and Settings page by clicking the three vertical dots in the left corner of the monitor’s data screen. Once you’ve accessed your Device Settings, you can update the monitor’s location or name, allow another TSI Link Solutions account user to view your monitor’s measurement data, and update whether your monitor is mounted indoors or outdoors.
