Scrap yards are noisy places, but it's all music to recyclers' ears. The sounds of clanking metals mean productivity and profit.
TSI tools for sorting and separating scrap bring their own sound to the symphony—the buzz of a laser. Radiation-free laser-induced breakdown spectroscopy, or LIBS, is the technology inside both our handheld and high volume scrap sorting products. LIBS enables fast and precise readings of light metals and alloys without regulations or fees.
In the coming months, you may hear some of these sounds in person. The TSI team hits the road in March to exhibit ChemLite and ChemLine at spring shows and conferences for recycling and waste, QA, metallurgy and minerals, and metalcasting.
