Learn More About Your Flow Meter!

TSI Gas Mass Flow Meters with New Features and Functionality

Let us walk you through our 5000 Series Flow Meter functionality so you can get the most out of your device. Some of the features include: multiple integrated measurements, flexible and lightweight design, bi-directional flow sensing, color touchscreen display, configurable tube ends, and more.

Some of our models provide integrated measurements of mass and volumetric flow rates, absolute pressure, temperature, volume, differential pressure, and humidity.

Watch our four instructional videos below to learn more about your meter!

Instrument Overview

In this training video we give an overview of the TSI 5000 Series Mass Flow Meter, provide tips on setup, and show you how to operate the meter.

This video applies to all 5000 Series TSI flow meter models.

Advanced Features

In this training video we learn about some of the new functionality available in TSI’s 5000 Series Mass Flow Meters, including differential pressure measurements, volume measurements, and saving/exporting data.

TSI flow meter models this video applies to: 5210, 5220, 5230, 5310, 5320, and 5330.

Making Volume Measurements

In this training video we learn about volume measurements and the different ways in which volume can be measured with a TSI 5000 Series Mass Flow Meter. We demonstrate open-ended volume measurements using the Totalizer feature and making volume measurements through the use of triggers.

TSI flow meter models this video applies to: 5210, 5220, 5230, 5310, 5320, and 5330.

FLO-Sight PC Software

In this training video we learn the basics of FLO-Sight, the companion PC software package for TSI 5000 Series Mass Flow Meters. FLO-Sight PC software can be used to operate any TSI 5000 Series Mass Flow Meter.

This video applies to all 5000 Series TSI flow meter models operated with FLO-Sight software.

Testing Oxygen Concentrators with TSI 5000 Series Flow Meters

Positive air pressure devices have a number of integrated sensors which ensure a continuous, accurate control of air flow, pressure, vibration, and humidity to keep patients comfortable and safe. To maintain optimal performance, the embedded sensors in PAP devices may need to be calibrated or checked periodically. The TSI model 5310-1 flow meter is ideal for testing CPAPs and other positive air pressure devices.

Testing CPAPs with TSI 5000 Series Flow Meters

Oxygen concentrators continuously filter nitrogen out of the ambient air in order to supply an oxygen-rich gas stream to the patient. To maintain optimal performance, these devices may need to be calibrated or checked periodically. TSI 5000 Series Mass Flow Meters can be used to test both pulse dose and continuous flow oxygen delivery systems.
