Attendees are cordially invited to visit TSI's booth at the 1st ACTRIS Science Conference 2024 taking place on May 13-16 in Rennes, France.
The ACTRIS (Aerosols, Clouds, and Trace Gases Research Infrastructure) community represents a diverse network of scientists, researchers, and industry professionals united by a common goal: to enhance our understanding of atmospheric processes and their impacts on climate, air quality, and human health. TSI values the opportunity to collaborate with ACTRIS members as well as other interested parties during this first conference, leveraging collective expertise and resources to drive meaningful progress in atmospheric science and environmental research.
TSI is excited to present our poster titled "Harmonized Ultrafine Particle (UFP) Number Measurements in Europe: Achievements and Challenges" at the conference. This presentation addresses a critical need highlighted by the World Health Organization (WHO) in their 2021 Global Air Quality Guidelines: the inclusion of continuous measurement of particle number (PN) concentration and particle size distributions (PSD) in the sub-micrometer size range. The harmonization is not only focus of two European standards (EN 16796 and CEN/TS 17434) but also a common goal of standardization efforts made within the ACTRIS research infrastructure.
TSI is dedicated to supporting the mission of ACTRIS through the development and provision of innovative instrumentation and solutions tailored to the needs of atmospheric researchers. We are eager to share our expertise, showcase our latest solutions, and learn from the diverse perspectives and experiences of our colleagues within the ACTRIS network.
TSI will showcase a range of legacy and gold standard products tailored for ambient air monitoring applications.
Particle Sizing: With its high-resolution capabilities and ability to precisely measure particle size distribution, TSI's Scanning Mobility Particle Sizer™ (SMPS™) enables researchers to accurately characterize ultrafine particles.
Aerodynamic Particle Size Distribution: TSI's Aerodynamic Particle Sizer™ (APS™) is a cutting-edge instrument designed to accurately measure aerodynamic particle size distribution, facilitating precise analysis in various research and industrial applications.
Size-Segregated Particle Mass: TSI's range of MOUDI™ impactors enables researchers to collect particle mass data across different size fractions, empowering detailed analysis and characterization of airborne particulate matter composition.
Mark the dates May 13-16 in your calendar! We are excited to connect with colleagues, share insights, and explore opportunities for collaboration. Together, we can continue to drive innovation, expand our collective knowledge, and address the complex environmental challenges facing our planet.
