Itasca-based LDV System


Uses solid-state Itasca laser module with built-in Bragg cell that provides two equal power frequency shifted and unshifted beams, ready to be coupled to a fiber optic transceiver probe, giving you the power for your very challenging turbulent and large-scale wind tunnel flow in laser doppler velocimetry (LDV) measurements.

The full system consists of the Itasca laser module as well as TSI fiberoptic transceiver probes, FSA Signal Processor and FSA BurstPro™ - Particle and Flow Analysis software.


Product Details

The Itasca-based LDV System contains an Itasca laser module with built-in Bragg cell to provide two equal power laser beams to be coupled with the fiber optic probe. The two laser beams, one with shifted at 40 MHz and the other with unshifted, can be easily launched onto any fiber optic transceiver probe to provide the measurement volume for the measurement.

The complete Itasca-based LDV System gives you power for your very challenging flow measurements with high accuracy and excellent spatial resolution. Three versions of Itasca laser modules with three different laser wavelengths are offered, to help to configure measurement of three-components of velocity.
