The dBadge2 is a rugged personal noise dosimeter. With Intrinsically Safe versions, the dBadge2 is the perfect tool for personal noise assessments when a worker is mobile.

The dBadge2 is an innovative dosimeter combing cutting-edge technology with a user-friendly interface to provide accurate, real-time data on noise exposure. The dBadge2 meets IEC 61252 and ANSI S1.25 standards. With the added benefit of Bluetooth® Connectivity you can connect the dBadge2 to your smartphone or mobile device and monitor and control the instrument remotely.

Designed for comfort and convenience, the dBadge2 is compact and lightweight, easily attached to a worker's clothing or helmet without causing discomfort or interference. Its robust construction is built to withstand the rigors of industrial environments. The device features a clear, OLED color display that shows real-time exposure data, including average sound levels (Leq), peak levels and 8 hour dose calculations.

The dBadge2 features a rugged housing that is resistant to dust, water, and shock. It complies with IP65 standards, ensuring reliable performance in challenging environments. Users can easily configure the dBadge2 to meet specific monitoring requirements, including setting thresholds, time-weighting, and frequency-weighting options. This flexibility ensures the device can adapt to various regulatory standards and workplace conditions. The dosimeter can be setup to simultaneously measure against three international noise dosimetry standards eg ISO, OSHA and ACGIH.

Available as a single unit or part of a 5-way or 10 Way kit. Instrument Kits are available in a kit case that holds up to 10 dBadge2 units. Kits also include the CEL-120/2 Acoustic Calibrator, docking station, USB download cable. NoiseSafe software is free to download separately, allowing download of data, analysis and reporting. Time history of average and peak levels can easily be analysed and spurious data can be removed using the exclusion tool.
