Double Pulse Nd:YAG Laser

TSI’s family of low speed Nd:YAG lasers are ideal for PIV applications, featuring a dual oscillator/single head with powerful light source illuminator of up to 400 mJ per laser pulse and pulse frequency up to 100 Hz.  The lasers are applicable for all flow ranges, from water to supersonics flows.

Product Details

The dual cavity laser delivers two powerful laser pulses separated by user adjustable timing such that the laser can be used for a wide velocity range, with velocity up to 1000m/s in PIV applications.  The separation of pulses can range from milliseconds to nanoseconds, all controlled by the LaserPluse synchronizer and the Insight 4G software.  Pulse duration of those lasers is in the order of a few nanoseconds, allow the seed particle image to be captured without any distortion for accurate velocity measurements.
