OmniCount™ PWCPC Joins the OmniTrak™ Multi-parameter Platform
TSI Incorporated, recognized worldwide for advancing aerosol science and air quality monitoring solutions, is proud to announce the expanded capabilities of its OmniCount™ Portable Water-based Condensation Particle Counter (PWCPC) Model 3002. This enhancement includes the ability to integrate the high-performance particle counter into the TSI OmniTrak™ Solution, creating a cohesive, multi-parameter field platform for researchers who require real-time, spatially distributed ultrafine particle (UFP) data and more. This development positions TSI's offering as the only dual-channel, portable water-based CPC that integrates into a system capable of synchronizing multiple units for comprehensive, multi-parameter air monitoring in multiple locations.
A Smart Way to Capture Air Quality Data
By connecting the OmniCount™ PWCPC to the OmniTrak™ Smart Station, users retain all standalone functionalities while unlocking synchronized data logging with even more parameters. The system offers flexible expansion within a 100m BLE range: simply add an OmniTrak™ Smart Station and select one or more sensor modules to adapt to specific research needs. Researchers can now view, log, and correlate dual-channel UFP data in real-time alongside particulate matter (PM), particle number concentration (PNC), key gases (VOC, CO2, CO, H2CO, and more), and environmental parameters such as temperature, pressure, relative humidity, and noise.
Data from all connected OmniCount™ instruments and OmniTrak™ modules are automatically aligned and timestamped, eliminating the need for manual data merging or master clock synchronization. Once measurements are complete, users can select the workflow that fits their needs: export a CSV file via USB for offline analysis, or take advantage of the TSI Link™ platform for wireless data transfer (no cables required), secure cloud storage, multi-location accessibility, and streamlined data processing. TSI Link™ Report Creator provides an end-to-end workflow that reduces manual handling, offers built-in redundancy through cloud backup, and supports future scalability for teams who want integrated data visibility across projects.
Multi-parameter Insights Drive Better Research
“Bringing together the precision of the OmniCount™ PWCPC and the powerful integration capabilities of the OmniTrak™ platform gives researchers and professionals global insights into complex environments,” said Ketan Mehta, Vice President of Global Sales & Marketing at TSI Incorporated. “This solution enables smarter research by delivering synchronized, multi-parameter data across multiple locations.”
The modular approach is ideal for a variety of demanding applications, including real-time UFP monitoring in buildings, schools, and aircraft cabins, personal exposure studies, and source emissions research. With support for a wide range of OmniTrak™ modules (such as PM, VOC, and gas sensors), users can deploy multiple OmniCount™ devices per Smart Station and configure their setup for comprehensive, field-ready environmental insights.
By integrating the OmniCount™ PWCPC with the OmniTrak™ Smart Station and a selection of sensor modules, users can expand standalone UFP measurement capabilities into a multi-parameter platform, delivering simultaneous multi-location monitoring that simplifies data collection for accelerated and streamlined research outcomes.
