Dust Monitoring & Compliance with South Coast AQMD and Rule 1466
Within the South Coast Air Quality Management District (South Coast AQMD) region, any owner or operator conducting earth-moving activities of soil with applicable toxic air contaminants must comply with Rule 1466 to help offset fugitive dust emissions. The provisions in Rule 1466 include ambient PM10 monitoring, recordkeeping, dust control measures, notifications and signage. Join TSI and the South Coast AQMD for a webinar and learn about the requirements for compliance, approved instruments for monitoring, and get answers to some frequently asked questions. The South Coast AQMD is the local air pollution control agency for Orange County and portions of Los Angeles, San Bernardino and Riverside counties.
Guest Speaker: Uyen-Uyen Vo, Program Supervisor for planning, rule development and area resources for the South Coast Air Quality Management District.
