The TSI Fluid Mechanics team is pleased to be part of the Society for Integrative and Comparative Biology Annual Meeting on Jan 4 in Tampa. Our contribution to the SICB is in supporting research with fluid mechanics and fluid dynamics instruments that provide reliable, repeatable data.
Following the SICB Meeting, on Jan 8 TSI will host a workshop, "Particle Image Velocimetry for Experimental Biology: Principles, Implementation, and a Hands-On Session," from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM at the Marriott. Participants will learn how about integrating PIV into their research and understanding the principles and implementation of this method.
The workshop will be led by Roi Gurka of Coastal Carolina University, Roi Holzman of Tel Aviv University, and Brooke Flammang of the New Jersey Institute of Technology, Rutgers University. The workshop will cover:
