1st Canadian Aerosol Conference (CAC)

08/07/2026 - 10/07/2026 University of Ottawa, Desmarais Building, Ottawa, ON K1N 9B9, Canada Hybrid Event (In-person & Online) https://www.caar-acra.ca/canadian-aerosol-conference

TSI is proud to be a Gold Sponsor of the inaugural Canadian Aerosol Conference (CAC 2026) - a landmark event bringing together the aerosol science community across academia, industry, and government.

Organized by the Canadian Association for Aerosol Research (CAAR-ACRA), CAC 2026 marks the first national conference of its kind in Canada, offering a unique platform to exchange ideas, present cutting-edge research, and build new collaborations.

TSI Presentation

OmniCount™ Portable Water-based Condensation Particle Counter Model 3001Dan Troolin, Applications Engineer at TSI Incorporated, will present: “Characterization of a Compact Water-based CPC for Portable Use”

This presentation highlights recent developments in compact, portable CPC technology (OmniCount™ PWCPC Model 3001), evaluating its counting efficiency and accuracy against a reference electrometer using monodisperse aerosols. The results show a d50 of ~8 nm and concentration accuracy within 20% up to 200,000 particles/cm³, demonstrating its suitability for mobile ultrafine particle measurements across a range of applications.

Supporting Aerosol Science & Innovation

At CAC 2026, TSI will showcase advanced solutions for aerosol measurement, ultrafine particle (UFP) monitoring, and particle characterization.

A key highlight is the OmniCount™ Portable Water-based Condensation Particle Counter (PWCPC) family, delivering accurate, reliable, and flexible UFP concentration measurements for both stationary and mobile applications.

In addition, TSI will present its dedicated solution for continuous ambient UFP monitoring, designed to support long-term measurements in line with emerging regulatory frameworks. These solutions align with EN 16796 and CEN/TS 17434, reflecting the direction of air quality monitoring requirements already being adopted in regions such as Europe.

Our experts will be available to discuss how these technologies support high-quality data generation, regulatory readiness, and evolving monitoring needs worldwide.

TSI looks forward to supporting this milestone event and connecting with you in Ottawa.
