By Adam Wolter, TSI Software Engineer
Our collaborative, innovative, and fun culture that we strive for at TSI has had to adapt to this new way of doing things. How do we welcome and integrate new team members while working remote? We've been striving to answer this question. We've had the fortune of bringing on many great new employees in recent months. All of us now have team members that we've never met in person, yet work very closely with on a day by day basis.
Here at TSI we've always liked to celebrate our accomplishments, even the small ones. Our team has been holding regular "virtual happy hours" after our software sprints. It's been a great opportunity for us to set time aside to get to know one another on a personal level, to celebrate our accomplishments, and build relationships that often come very naturally in an office setting. We also always have one whenever a new employee starts! I'm happy to say that our "virtual office" has had just as great of a culture as the one that we had in-person prior to COVID-19.
