TSI Donates PortaCount Equipment to Washington State Hospitals

TSI responds to an urgent call from a Washington State healthcare system at the beginning of the pandemic.

EvergreenHealth in Kirkland, WashingtonEvergreenHealth, a healthcare system based in Washington State, reached out to TSI Sales Manager Long Yang in April 2020. They had more than 4,500 staff working in medical facilities located near Seattle, Washington, all of whom needed respirator fit testing as COVID-19 cases were flooding in. The pandemic was new territory for medical professionals everywhere and to complicate matters, PPE was in short supply.

Qualitative fit testing too slow

From Yang and TSI leadership, EvergreenHealth got the resources, tools, and assistance they needed. The organization was able to fit test and train all their staff quickly, so they could feel prepared and confident.
