During the past weeks, our channel partners from Indonesia, Malaysia and Thailand provided free fit testing to hospitals in their region to ensure that staff have masks that fit properly.
PT HAS Environmental in Indonesia performed fit testing for staff at both Wisma Atlet Hospital in Central Jakarta and Persahabatan Central General Hospital in East Jakarta. Both hospitals are have facilities dedicated to treat COVID-19 patients.
In Malaysia, One Gasmaster collaborated with National Institute of Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH) Malaysia. They have provided and will continue to provide fit testing for frontline health officers, nurses and staff at Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA), Klang Port, Hospital Sugai Buloh, and eight other district hospitals and healthcare facilities.
Thailand Srinagarind Hospital (Khon Kaen) approached our channel partner, Innovative Instrument, and initiated a quantitative fit testing session for their healthcare personnel. TSI PortaCount™ quantitative fit tests were performed for staff in the Emergency Department.
During the test, the Innovative Instrument team educated hospital workers on the importance of wearing a mask that fits properly.
