The Nano MOUDI™ II 125R extends the proven MOUDI™ design into the nanoparticle range with thirteen impaction stages plus a final filter and an inlet stage with an 18 µm cut point. The impactor separates particles into four equal geometric intervals per decade of particle size, enabling detailed characterization of coarse, fine, ultrafine, and nanoscale aerosols.
Advanced micro-orifice nozzle technology extends aerodynamic cut points to 10 nm while minimizing particle losses, particle bounce, and re-entrainment. Internal rotating impaction stages create quasi-uniform particle deposits across collection substrates, improving analytical accuracy for gravimetric, elemental, and chemical analyses.
The integrated PLC-based control system provides automated operation, programmable sampling schedules, pump control, data logging, and Ethernet-enabled remote access. Instrument temperature and pressure measurements are continuously monitored and recorded throughout the sampling period.
Interchangeable impaction plates, removable filter holders, and sealed transport covers facilitate efficient sample handling while helping protect collected samples from contamination and environmental exposure.
