INSIGHT V3V- DPIR
Recent Advances in Volumetric Velocimetry for Densely-Seeded Flows
Time: 8:00-9:00 AM (CDT) / 3:00-4:00 PM (CEST) -OR- 1:00-2:00 PM (CDT) / 8:00-9:00 PM (CEST)
A message from the TSI presenters:
"Volumetric velocimetry relies on the ability to track the positions and velocity of many tracer particles simultaneously. Densely-seeded flows are desired in order to increase the number of data points within a given volume and thus increase the spatial resolution of the measurement. In this webinar we will describe the latest improvements to the INSIGHT V3V-DPIR software that utilizes the concepts of peaks, projections, and paths to allows for 3D tracking of particles in densely-seeded flows. Details of the algorithm as well as examples will be discussed."
