Quick Start: QTrak XP

Learn the Basics of TrakPro Ultra

This short tutorial will cover the basics of using TrakPro Ultra with QTrak XP.  You will need to install TrakPro on a device (see how) and have a connected QTrak XP (see how).  You should also have some studies saved on your QTrak XP that you can work with.

Open TrakPro Ultra.  If a single QTrak XP is properly connected, the number ‘1’ will appear in a green bubble over the Connection icon in the upper right corner.  You should also now see the studies that have been saved on your QTrak XP.  If you cannot see any saved studies, click here.

Select one of the studies by clicking the Three Dot icon in the study row.  Then click Save to TrakPro.  A green checkbox will appear for that study showing that it has been successfully saved to your TrakPro database.

Now that the study has been retrieved, click the Three Dot icon again and click Analyze.  (Alternatively, you could click Analyze from TrakPro tab as well.)

The study will be displayed in the Analysis screen.  All of the measurements recorded in the study will be displayed in a series of time charts.  You may need to scroll the window to view them all.

These charts are interactive.  As you hover over data points, their values are displayed.  You can also control the zoom level by click-dragging the zoom markers at the bottom of the chart.  You can easily pan through the chart by click-dragging the zoomed area.

The chart may be printed or saved as a PNG file by clicking Save Image icon above the chart.

TrakPro Ultra provides a number of ways to enhance the displayed charts.  The Configure Chart icon opens a menu with the enhancement tools.  You can add labels, annotations, control markers, and more.   This tutorial will not cover the tools but you can click here to explore them.

A data summary panel also appears on the right side of the charts, displaying the minimum, maximum, and average values for each measurement.  You can hide this summary panel with the Show Data switch if you want to maximize the chart area.  If you wish to inspect the actual measurement values, click the measurement’s row.

You can now scroll through the readings.  Click the left arrow to return to the Data Summary panel.
