Meet TSI at the 6th UFP Symposium 2026

Advancing Ultrafine Particle Monitoring

6th Symposium "Ultrafine Particles in Outdoor and Indoor Air"

2026/9/14 - 2026/9/15 Technical University of Berlin, Straße des 17. Juni 152, 10623 Berlin, Germany https://www.tu.berlin/uc/ufp

TSI is pleased to exhibit at the 6th UFP Symposium 2026 in Berlin, bringing together scientists, regulators, and air quality professionals to discuss the latest developments in ultrafine particle (UFP) measurement and monitoring.

3750200 Sampling System with full CEN-compliant SMPS setupWith the implementation of the new EU Ambient Air Quality Directive (2024/2881) on the horizon, this year's symposium will place a special focus on the future of UFP monitoring, including a panel discussion on the directive's new measurement requirements. The program also features invited presentations, scientific posters, and an exhibition showcasing leading UFP measurement technologies.

Visit the TSI Exhibition

Stop by our exhibit to learn how TSI's portfolio of ultrafine particle measurement solutions supports research, regulatory monitoring, and environmental health applications. Our experts will be available to discuss technologies for particle number concentration (PNC) and particle size distribution (PSD) measurements, from portable field instruments to reference-grade monitoring systems.

Meet Our Scientists

We are proud that two TSI scientists will present scientific posters during the symposium:

Optimizing UFP Sampling Efficiency

Dr. Carsten Kykal will present the capabilities of the TSI Sampling System for Atmospheric Particles, demonstrating how a single sampling system can serve one or multiple instruments without compromising sampling efficiency or introducing measurement bias.

Measuring Particle Size Distribution with a Dual-Channel Water-based CPC

TSI OmniCount™ PWCPC Model 3001Dr. Torben Rüther will present a novel approach for measuring ultrafine particle size distributions using a dual-channel water-based condensation particle counter (CPC) combined with diffusion screens, enabling compact and efficient PSD measurements.

Let's Talk UFP Monitoring

Whether you're preparing for upcoming regulatory requirements, expanding your monitoring network, or advancing aerosol research, we'd be delighted to discuss your measurement challenges and share the latest developments in TSI's UFP monitoring technologies.

We look forward to meeting you in Berlin!
