TSI's DustTrak™ Aerosol Monitors Approved for Measuring Emissions from Toxic Soils in California

Shoreview, MN—The South Coast Air Quality Management District (SCAQMD), the lead air pollution agency in the South Coast Air Basin (SCAB), inspects more than 27,000 facilities in the SCAB area and responds to thousands of air quality public complaints.
Adopted on July 7, 2017, Rule 1466—Control of Particulate Emissions from Soils with Toxic Air Contaminants—defines methods to minimize off-site fugitive dust emissions containing toxic air contaminants by establishing dust control measures that can be implemented during earth moving activities.
