The Paraffin Oil Aerosol Generator Model 1081414R-EN has been designed specifically for use with TSI® Certitest® Model 8130A and 8150 Filter Testers. It is used for testing filters and respirators to match the EN-143 and EN 13274-7:2019 test criteria. This generator also is included with TSI® Models 8130A-EN and 8150-EN Filter Testers.

How the Model 1081414R-EN Operates

The size of particles used for filter testing is critical when determining a filter’s penetration. To generate the appropriate particle size distribution for testing, the Paraffin Oil Aerosol Generator produces an oil mist in the generator reservoir using an atomizer jet. A drain bottle collects oil excess.
