Nano Enhancer 3757

SKU: 3757

The Nano Enhancer 3757 is a particle growth device for growing particles as small as 1 nm up to a size where a Condensation Particle Counter (CPC) can detect them. It is particularly well-suited to be paired with the TSI® Condensation Particle Counter (CPC) 3750 creating the 1nm CPC 3757-50, which itself can be used in a 1nm Scanning Mobility Particle Sizer™ (SMPS™) system.

Product Details

Building on the success of the Nano Enhancer 3777, the Nano Enhancer 3757 is the second generation of Nano Enhancer from TSI that enables researchers to grow nucleating aerosols starting from 1 nm (1.4 nm electrical mobility equivalent diameter). The new design is focused on automation and integration to make measurements easier.

The 3757 is essentially an ultrafine CPC without detection optics and uses Diethylene glycol (DEG) as the working fluid because it has a smaller minimum activation particle size compared to water or butanol.

Combined with an aerosol sheath flow system that keeps the smallest particles in the center of the growth section, this grows particles from 1 nm to >30 nm, where they can be detected with a standard CPC. In fact, combined with the Condensation Particle Counter 3750, it provides total particle number concentration (PNC), minimizes particle losses, and collects data at a time resolution of 50 Hz.

For comprehensive particle size distribution (PSD) measurements in the range of 1 nm to 50 nm, the Nano Enhancer 3757 can be combined with the Electrostatic Classifier 3082 and 1nm Differential Mobility Analyzer (DMA) 3086. This powerful combination forms a complete 1nm Scanning Mobility Particle Sizer™ (SMPS™) spectrometer, enabling precise analysis of particle size distribution.

Supported by AIM 11 software, both the 1nm CPC and 1nm SMPS™ allow the user to investigate the subtleties of aerosol behavior at these smallest sizes... all made possible by the Nano Enhancer 3757.
