Specialized spaces often times must be maintained at a positive or negative pressure to ensure safety and compliance to standards. When designing a pressure control system for these critical applications, like hospital isolation rooms, it can be challenging to understand the differences in available pressure sensing technologies. The two available technologies on the market today include a Through-the-Wall (TTW) anemometer based sensor and a pressure transducer based on capacitive resistance. While both technologies were designed to meet the need of pressure measurement and control, there is striking differencing in performance.
